Seasonal wall hangings

It has been so long since I have posted. Almost a year.. and in all that time I have been coughing.. that is right coughing.. I have been to so many drs I have lost count. I have had countless MRIs and CT scans, xrays, antibiotics and such.  I was thinking as I started to type that I should have kept up with the blog, it could have been reassurance for those out there that sometimes there is not a quick answer to illness.  I still cough.. have a new pulmonologist and he is trying his thing.  He says I am challenging. Yup.. that's me!  But, I am grateful for my life and am ready for a New Year in the hopes it will bring me Health. I know it will bring us a new Granddaughter and I will be making more quilts.  Finishing Bonnie Hunter's new Mystery Quilt Celtic Solstice. Going on 2 Quilt Retreats, camping with family, holidays and enjoying life.  Guess it isn't so bad.
  Glad to be back!

Easy Street Mystery Top Finally Done!!!

It has been so long since I posted --- but my crazy patchwork life has gotten in the way.  I went to a Quilting Retreat this past weekend and I finished Bonnie Hunter's Easy Street Mystery Quilt.  I had a couple of four patches turned around in the blocks and had to do a little unsewing. It is such a big quilt I was glad to have a nice large room to lay it out in.  Not to mention that while I was there sewing all weekend this was my view.....  The Chester River right outside.

                                                                " EASY STREET"

It was a wonderful weekend I also put together a log cabin top and part of another.  Very productive weekend of quilting and building new friendships.
